2016 Railway Stakes: Final field of 16 plus three emergencies

Star New Zealander Kawi heads a capacity field of sixteen runners plus three emergencies for Saturday's Group One Railway Stakes (1600m) at Ascot

The five-time Group One winner will carry 58.5kg, with top Victorian hoop Michael Walker to do the steering.

Last year's winner Good Project returns to defend his crown, with Waller stablemate Mackintosh looking to break through at the elite level after a consistent spring.

Darren Weir's four-year-old Rageese will also contest the Railway after an impressive win in the Group Three Chatham Stakes (1400m) on Oaks day.

Douglas Whyte - the winner of thirteen consecutive Hong Kong jockey titles between 2001/2 and 2012/13 - has been booked for the ride on local hope Scales Of Justice.
